Home Visits
These are at the discretion of the doctor. Please do not ask the doctor to call unless the patient is too ill to come to the surgery. If a patient has a temperature or a rash, coming into the surgery will do no harm, but please inform the receptionist on arrival. Please remember that we can often see patients more promptly and have better facilities for treatment at the surgery.
Where possible, please try to request home visits before 10.30am.
When you request a visit please give the patient's full name, address, telephone number and the reason for the visit. If you feel the problem is urgent please make this clear to the receptionist. This information allows the doctor to plan their calls and urgent requests to be dealt with promptly.
