What to do if you are COVID Positive -
If you have received your Covid-19 swab results as POSITIVE. You will need to self-isolate for 10 days from the day when your symptoms began, or from the date of your test if you do not have any symptoms. Contact 111 or you GP if:
Your symptoms worsen
Breathlessness developed or worsens
Your symptoms haven’t improved in 10 days
If you have a medical emergency, phone 999 and tell them you have coronavirus symptoms.
Ring 999 if:
You are unable to complete short sentences at rest due to breathlessness.
Your breathing suddenly worsens within an hour.
OR if these more general signs of serious illness develop:
you are coughing up blood
you have blue lips or a blue face
you feel cold and sweaty with pale or blotchy skin
you have a rash that does not fade when you roll a glass over it
you collapse or faint
you become agitated, confused or very drowsy
you have stopped peeing or are peeing much less than usual
